Last Glories: Lützen, Bautzen, and Dresden 1813 – Napoleonic Wargame

Last Glories puts players in command of vast armies during the pivotal 1813 German Campaign. Test your strategic vision, troop coordination, and sense of maneuver across three historic clashes that decided the fate of the First Empire: Lützen, Bautzen, and Dresden.

Three Legendary Battles of the 1813 Campaign

Experience diverse operational challenges, from brutal attritional engagements to ambitious double-envelopments:

Lützen (2 May 1813): Napoleon’s return to the battlefield after the Russian disaster. Lead the inexperienced "Marie-Louise" conscripts in desperate village fighting around Großgörschen and Kaja to seize the initiative without adequate cavalry.
Bautzen (20-21 May 1813): Execute a masterclass in grand maneuvers. Pin the enemy frontally while coordinating Marshal Ney’s flanking force to cut off the Allied retreat.
Dresden (26-27 August 1813): Recreate Napoleon's last great triumph. Fight in pouring rain to crush a numerically superior Allied force using decisive counter-attacks and reserve management.

Game Scale & System Highlights:

Operational Scale: Brigade level. 1 strength point represents 400 infantry, 300 cavalry, or 4–6 cannons.
Complexity Rating: 8 / 9 (Deep tactical/operational simulation for experienced wargamers).
Bilingual Edition: Full rules and scenario booklets provided in both English and French.

Box Contents & Components:
