Advanced Squad Leader – Action Pack #22: A World at War

A World at War, the 22nd Action Pack for Advanced Squad Leader (ASL), contains an eclectic mix of small-unit actions spanning from 1941 to 1945. Test your tactical skills across diverse battlefields, from the forested highlands of Ethiopia to the dense jungles of Papua New Guinea, and from the harsh Soviet steppes to the snow-covered forests of the Ardennes.

Tournament-Tested Design

These 12 scenarios were specifically designed by veterans Jim “The Bishop Sez” Bishop and Gary “Fort” Fortenberry to offer high mobility and demanding tactical decisions for both attackers and defenders. Playtimes are perfectly tuned for standard tournament rounds, with the largest setups ideally suited to wrap up a day of competitive play.

Brand New Geomorphic Mapboards

The package features three 11˝ × 16˝ double-sided geomorphic mapboards (27a/b, 28a/b, 29a/b). Designed by Gary Fort and beautifully painted by Charlie Kibler, these boards are fully compatible with previous ASL releases, unlocking countless unique terrain layouts for your future custom scenarios.

What's Inside the Pack:

  • 3 double-sided geomorphic mapboards (27a/b, 28a/b, 29a/b).
  • 12 Official ASL scenarios (AP237 to AP248) : featuring diverse historical matchups, including Ethiopian vs. Italian, Russian vs. Hungarian/RONA, Commonwealth vs. Japanese, Free French vs. German, and Canadian vs. German.
Please Note: Action Pack #22 is not a standalone product. It is designed for experienced players and assumes ownership of the core Advanced Squad Leader game system.
