Bailén 1808: A Decisive Victory

July 1808. Under the scorching sun of Andalusia, Napoleonic invincibility is about to falter. Bailén 1808 transports you to the heart of this unexpected confrontation where isolated and exhausted French troops face a galvanized Spanish army. This title follows in the footsteps of the acclaimed Waterloo 1815 and Austerlitz 1805, offering both a rigorous and accessible simulation of this historical defeat that changed the course of the Peninsular War.

An Innovative Block System

The core of the game relies on the use of wooden blocks. This mechanic offers a dual advantage: undeniable aesthetics on the battlefield and perfect management of the fog of war. You will only know the opponent's true strength at the moment of the bayonet clash. Managing block orientation allows for tracking attrition and the loss of unit cohesion in real-time, making every movement decision crucial.

Immersion and Strategy

True to the series' standards, the game offers a deep tactical experience. Terrain, sweltering heat, and supply lines play a leading role. Whether you are trying to break the encirclement with French columns or organizing the resistance with Spanish forces, Bailén 1808 rewards bold planning and morale management.
