World at War #109 delivers in-depth WWII historical analysis alongside a standalone conflict simulation game designed by Javier Romero, covering the decisive Allied reconquest of Burma from November 1944 to May 1945.

The Game: Forgotten Victory – Burma 1945

Forgotten Victory puts players in charge of the high-stakes campaign where the British 14th Army faced daunting logistical barriers and a determined Japanese defense across rugged terrain and major river obstacles. The Allied player must leverage air and riverine transport to liberate Burma before monsoon rains paralyze all movement.

Game System: Operational-level warfare emphasizing transport operations, supply management, and river crossings in treacherous terrain.
Game Scale: 1 game turn = 15 days (12 turns total) | 1 hex = 25 miles (40 km) | Units represent armies, corps, divisions, brigades, regiments, battalions, and air transport/combat units.

Une excellente découverte ! Le propriétaire est non seulement très sympathique, mais aussi passionné, disponible et de bon conseil. On sent qu’il aime ce qu’il fait, et ça se reflète dans l’ambiance chaleureuse de la boutique.
