The Battle of the Marne, 1914 aims to simulate, on a strategic scale, this decisive operational sequence during which the German advance was halted and then forced to retreat, marking the failure of the Schlieffen Plan.
The system follows in the footsteps of the “Campaigns of the Republic” series (VV108, VV177), while significantly increasing its scale. The player is placed at an operational command level, where joint coordination and tempo management take precedence over fine tactics.
