Card games are undeniably among the most popular board games. Available in many varieties and categories, card games cover every style and universe. Large enough to feature an evocative image and small enough to fit ideally in hand, a playing card has the perfect shape to offer infinite gameplay possibilities, as shown by the countless card games available worldwide. Discover your future card-based board game without delay on AgoraJeux!
Card games are traditionally divided into two main categories: so-called "living" expandable card games and all-in-one card games.
Expandable card games are, as their name suggests, games meant to evolve over time. Players start with a base deck that they can later expand by purchasing expansions and extra card packs, in order to find rare gems and eventually build their dream deck! Expandable card games are perfect for anyone who grows attached to a game and its universe. By choosing an expandable card game, you can extend a gaming experience you enjoy by regularly adding cards to complete your deck until you reach the ideal combination.
Expandable card games are not the only card-based board games we offer. Indeed, all-in-one card games are also very popular among players, and we carry a great and wide collection of them. All-in-one card games are full-fledged board games in their own right, except they consist entirely of playing cards. No other components are required to play this type of game. All-in-one card games are self-sufficient and do not require any expansions. With an all-in-one card game, you will have all the cards in hand to share great moments with your friends!
To protect your expandable and all-in-one card games, we also offer high-quality transparent card sleeves. This way, you won't have to worry about damaging your favorite cards when bringing them out to play with friends!
Not sure which card game to choose? Let us suggest a few well-known and recognized titles, unanimously appreciated for their many gaming qualities.
If you are looking for an exciting expandable card game with a rich universe, we can only point you toward the essential Magic: The Gathering.
If you prefer all-in-one card games, we recommend trying classics like Dominion, Star Realms, 7 Wonders, or Munchkin. Among all-in-one card games, you will notably have the choice between small card games, such as The Crew or Munchkin, and larger card games, like Dominion or Arkham Horror: The Card Game.
