On your marks… Get set… Go! Join the frantic and completely unpredictable race of Athlètes de Compète! Roll your die, move along the track… and watch pure tactical chaos unfold. In this explosive and highly interactive racing game, victory doesn't just rely on a lucky die roll… but rather on your perfect timing and your ability to master the chaos to cross the finish line first.

Mechanics and Gameplay Structure

A full game is played over the course of 4 unique races. At the start, you draft your custom dream team of athletes, choosing one specific runner to compete in each upcoming leg. On your turn, roll your movement die and advance on the board. This is where the madness begins: you instantly trigger (or suffer from) cascading character powers.

Every single character features a wacky ability that completely disrupts the race track. Powers resolve in a precise, specific order, creating spectacular chain reactions on the board:

Banane: Tripped up any rival runner who dares to overtake their position on the track.
Duelliste: Instantly triggers a duel with anyone unfortunate enough to land on their exact space.
Hypnotiseur: Mind-controls and teleports an opponent directly onto their current square.
Slime: Covers the lane in goo, slowing down all other competing athletes.

The first runner to cross the finish line claims a prestigious Gold Trophy, while the runner-up takes home a Silver Medal. At the end of the four rounds, the player with the highest total score wins the tournament!

Strategic Chaos and High Replayability

While the game is incredibly simple to learn, it remains beautifully unpredictable to master. The diverse powers counter and combo with each other, ensuring that no two games ever feel the same. Replayability shines thanks to two separate race tracks included, team selection mechanics, and optimized variants for 2-3 players.

Une excellente découverte ! Le propriétaire est non seulement très sympathique, mais aussi passionné, disponible et de bon conseil. On sent qu’il aime ce qu’il fait, et ça se reflète dans l’ambiance chaleureuse de la boutique. Le choix est varié, les produits sont bien présentés, et on a tout de suite envie d’acheter… encore et encore ! Une boutique locale qui mérite d’être connue et soutenue.
