1764. A bloody shadow looms over the highlands of Gévaudan. As a renowned hunter, you have been dispatched by Louis XV to end the carnage. But you are not alone: other trackers covet the glory and the gold. Between myth and reality, the line is thin, and every footprint found in the mud brings you closer to the creature's den... or a fatal dead end.

Hunting Mechanics

Gévaudan — On the Trail of the Beast relies on a system of logical deduction and elimination by categories. Each turn, players examine Footprint tokens linked to four types of areas: the River, the Town, the Forest, or Dragoon Patrol zones. By cross-referencing this information, you must confirm or rule out specific squares on the board to isolate the lair's position. Speed is essential, for if no one finds the Beast in time, the creature itself will emerge victorious over the hunters.

Une excellente découverte ! Le propriétaire est non seulement très sympathique, mais aussi passionné, disponible et de bon conseil. On sent qu’il aime ce qu’il fait, et ça se reflète dans l’ambiance chaleureuse de la boutique.
