Second World War at Sea: The Emperor’s Sword – The Long War Rising

In a world where the naval treaties crumbled and the shipyards never slept, The Emperor’s Sword presents the ultimate clash of maritime technology. This expansion focuses on the ships and planes planned but never completed, pitting the full industrial might of the United States against the ambitious designs of the Empire of Japan.

The Pinnacle of Naval Design

For the Japanese Player: Deploy three additional Yamato-class battleships, modernized 1920s Tosa and Kii classes, and the massive A140 designs armed with 18-inch guns. Command next-gen aircraft like the A7M Reppu and B7A Ryusei.
For the American Player: Execute the Montana-class program in full, launch the 80,000-ton carrier conversion of the Normandie, and fly exotic prototypes such as the F5F Skyrocket and the B-35 flying wing bombers.
Expanded Theater: A huge new operational map extends the battlefield from the central Pacific all the way to the American West Coast, changing the stakes of the campaign.

Box/Expansion Contents

420 Die-cut counters: 140 double-sized ship pieces and 280 aircraft pieces with a silky-smooth finish.
30 Brand-new scenarios: Tailor-made missions to utilize the unique capabilities of these prototype units.
Large Operational Map: Seamlessly connects to the Midway Deluxe map.
Requirements: Must own Midway Deluxe Edition to play.
