ONUS! Crassus Army Box – Ambition and the Parthian Dream

Rome is in turmoil! This army box focuses on the ambitious campaigns of Marcus Licinius Crassus during the First Triumvirate period (59–44 BC), particularly his fateful clash with the Parthian Empire.

A Historical Strategy Game

This box is a versatile expansion for the *ONUS!* series. You can use it as a reinforcement for any scenario in your copy of *ONUS!*.

To play the specific scenarios related to this army and the Triumvirate period, you need the Triumviratus book and the ONUS! Traianus or ONUS! Pack base game.

Crassus, Surena, and the Eastern Front

The 40 cards in this box allow you to command the legions of the "richest man in Rome," Marcus Licinius Crassus, formed for his conquest dream. He is accompanied by his son, the skilled general Crassus Iunior.

Crucially, the box also features Crassus’ nemesis, the brilliant Parthian general Surena, allowing you to recreate the Battle of Carrhae and other conflicts.

Crassus’ forces rely on a mix of seasoned Roman infantry and specialized eastern troops:

Infantry including Marius’ Mules, *Antesignani*, and the fearless Vigiles.
Eastern mercenaries such as Galatian Legionaries and Rhodian Slingers.
Unique units like the **Carrhae Survivors**—soldiers who faced the ultimate defeat.

Detailed Contents

40 cards total, including Generals Licinius Crassus, Crassus Iunior, and Surena, as well as the following units: 7 Marius Mules, 6 Antesignani, 4 Veterani, 2 Carrhae Survivors, 3 Vigiles, 2 Equites Consulares, 3 Light Equites, 2 Rhodian Slingers, 2 Galatian Legionaries, 2 Balearic Slingers, 2 Peripolos, and 2 Toxotai.
