Kunersdorf 1759, the third game in the "SYWBS" series, simulates the pivotal battle fought on August 12, 1759, in Brandenburg, near Frankfurt an der Oder, during the Seven Years War. General Count Piotr Semionovitch Saltykov led a combined Russian-Austrian force, with the Russian Army totaling 60,150 men (70 battalions, 63 squadrons, and 45 Cossack sotnias) and 201 field guns, along with an Austrian contingent under FML Baron Ernst Gideon Loudon, comprising 19,200 men (16 battalions, including Grenzers, and 36 squadrons) and 10 field guns. The Prussian Army, commanded by King Frederick II the Great, numbered 50,200 men (63 battalions, 112 squadrons) and 160 field guns in total.

This edition includes a 40-page booklet with V3.0 rules for the SYWBS system, as well as a 28-page booklet detailing the new "Simple" rules. The Living Rules for the SYWBS system are also available in PDF format in the "Attachments" tab.

The games of the "SYW Battle System" (SYWBS) offer engaging grand-tactical simulations of Seven Years War battles, focusing on how command and control operated on the battlefield using period-accurate tactics and weapons. The system prioritizes high playability while reflecting the intricacies of military strategy and leadership.

Time: 30 minutes/turn (60 minutes per hourly phase)
Units: 1 Brigade, 1 Battalion, 1-3 Squadrons, 1 Battery
Strength point: Approximately 100 men per point
