Far Side of the World – Naval Strategy Across the Seven Seas

In 1914, Germany’s East Asia Squadron found itself isolated and surrounded by enemies. Admiral von Spee’s only hope was a perilous voyage around the world. Far Side of the World brings the Great War at Sea series to its greatest scope yet, mapping out the entire World Ocean for a high-stakes game of hide-and-seek and tactical combat.

Gameplay: The Great Hunt

Strategic Manuevers : The world map is divided into sea areas with modified search rules. The German player must wreak havoc on Allied commerce while navigating the Pacific and Atlantic, while the Allied player must manage a global network of ships to intercept them.
Updated System : Based on the Great War at Sea Second Edition rules—the first major rewrite of the series rules in over 25 years. This edition is a complete reimagining of the classic Cruiser Warfare game.
Multinational Fleets : Features British, German, Japanese, Italian, Austro-Hungarian, Russian, and Dutch vessels as they were deployed in August 1914.
