Beginning in June 1940, the RAF aimed to cripple Italy's industrial centers in the north (Milan, Turin, Genoa) and demoralize the population. Initial raids were ineffective, but the bombing campaign resumed in August 1940 and continued until August 1943, intensifying as Italy's situation worsened.

Italy was unprepared for night raids, lacking night fighters and advanced detection systems. The Italian air defense was outdated, relying on World War I-era equipment. Despite some limited German assistance, Italy struggled to defend against the RAF's bombings, which caused significant damage with relatively low aircraft losses.

Une excellente découverte ! Le propriétaire est non seulement très sympathique, mais aussi passionné, disponible et de bon conseil. On sent qu’il aime ce qu’il fait, et ça se reflète dans l’ambiance chaleureuse de la boutique.
