The Coming Storm: Campaigns of the Fourth Coalition (Oct 1806 – June 1807)
The Coming Storm explores the pivotal battles where the French Army encountered two vastly different opponents: the leadership-challenged Prussians and the resilient Russians. Part of the acclaimed Library of Napoleonic Battles series, each game depicts the critical maneuvers on the day before the main engagement.
Four Masterpiece Simulations
- Jena-Auerstädt (Oct 13–14, 1806): A study in military revolution. Napoleon strikes at Jena while Marshal Davout, outnumbered 2-to-1, achieves a stunning victory at Auerstädt against the Prussian Hauptarmee.
- Pultusk-Golymin (Dec 24–25, 1806): "Christmas in the Mud." Exhausting struggles in wet, winter conditions as Napoleon pursues the Russians near Warsaw.
- Eylau (Feb 7–8, 1807): Stalemate in the Snow. A brutal pitched battle in howling winds, featuring Murat’s massive cavalry charge and a sobering look at the limits of Napoleonic invincibility.
- Friedland (June 13–14, 1807): The decisive victory that forced the Russian Empire to the peace table.
Mechanical Highlights
This TCS2 edition is an ambitious update featuring all-new maps and counters. It is designed to work with the Universal Deck (not included) and the latest series rules. The Jena-Auerstädt game uniquely places both battlefields on a single map, allowing for strategic redeployments before the first shots are fired.
