Libération: Glières & Vercors

February 1944. Faced with the massive growth of the Resistance, German services and Vichy forces attempt to stifle the upcoming generalized uprising. In the Savoie Alps, the Maquis decide to put the Montagnard plan into action. The goal: engage in direct confrontation with the enemy and secure strategic positions. Will you be able to supply your HQ in the heart of these natural fortresses and withstand the inevitable strangulation by enemy armed forces?

Mechanics and Mountain Survival

This expansion for the asymmetrical deck-building game Libération introduces intense crisis management based on encirclement and logistics. The Resistance player must optimize the supply lines of their maquis silo while repelling coordinated assaults from the Milice and the Wehrmacht. More than just military survival, the challenge is to hold out long enough to win the battle of the airwaves through victory points, spreading the spark of rebellion across France.

Key Features

Asymmetrical Position Warfare: A tense confrontation where alpine topography becomes your best defense against the occupier's numerical superiority.
Crucial Logistic Objectives: Integrate supply management mechanics for bases and HQs to keep the Maquis ready to fight.
Moral and Media Impact: Gather victory points to win the propaganda war and bolster the morale of the internal French fighting forces.

Box Contents

Action and Event cards dedicated to Alpine forces and Vichy troops
Supply and Fortification tokens for Alpine strongholds
