Golden Journal No. 60: 9 April 1940 – The Danish Campaign

On the morning of April 9, 1940, German infantry and motorized brigades surged across the border into Denmark. Golden Journal No. 60 brings this often-overlooked campaign to your gaming table, covering the sporadic but fierce battles that took place as the Danish government struggled to react.

Premium Content and Magazine Format

  • Small Magazine Booklet: This expansion features the new-model Golden Journal format, providing an in-depth historical look at the campaign alongside your scenarios.
  • Silky-Smooth Playing Pieces: Includes 24 new die-cut counters. These high-quality pieces represent the unique units of the Danish defense forces.
  • Four New Scenarios: Master the tactical challenges of the 4-hour occupation across four specifically designed Panzer Grenadier missions. Note: Road to Dunkirk is required to play these scenarios.

Mighty Weapons in a Small Army

The Danes field their iconic motorcycle-mounted 20mm anti-tank guns. While seemingly modest, these weapons are a deadly threat to the light German tanks used during the invasion. Play through the historical scenarios where the Danes are outnumbered, or explore "what if" variants where Denmark is fully prepared to put up a fight.

Key Features

  • System: Panzer Grenadier (Expansion).
  • Included: 1 magazine-style booklet, 24 die-cut counters.
  • Scenarios: 4 missions covering all Danish border battles.
  • Requirements: Must own Road to Dunkirk to play.
