The Plum Island Horror – More of a Bad Thing: Double the Agony

You asked for more, and Hermann Luttmann delivered (against his better judgment!). More of a Bad Thing is the essential expansion for The Plum Island Horror, digging deeper into the "historic" archives of the catastrophe to bring you more factions, more mutations, and a lot more pain. If you thought you had mastered the island, think again.

New Factions: The Good, the Bad, and the Clowns

  • Oceanside Construction Company: A "control" style faction that focuses on managing Horror movement and tackling the tallest Murder of Horrors stacks with heavy machinery.
  • Monkey Island Cult: Banana-fevered cultists arriving on rafts with trained dolphins. Their leader, David Larry, features a "Curbed Enthusiasm" ability to manipulate Fate cards.
  • Z.Z.’s Big Top Circus: A dismal, low-budget circus that brings unique units like Fannie Oakley and the legendary Clown Car—a compound with unlimited housing for Civilians!

Alarming Mode: Not for the Faint of Heart

This expansion introduces a high-difficulty mode that punishes every mistake:

  • Lose EPs every time a Civilian Unit dies.
  • Areas no longer replenish during Night Rounds—scrounging for supplies becomes a desperate race.
  • Enhanced "Murder of Horrors" mechanics that make the hordes deadlier than ever.

More "Stuff" (Mostly Bad)

  • New Mutations & Units : Face the Reanimated Grizzly Bear and Frenzied Cockroaches. Supercharge the enemy with Alpha Horror Tiles.
  • Expanded Decks : More Search and Event cards, plus the dreaded "H.O.V. Lane" Fate results.
  • New Ways to Play : Semi-cooperative mode for uneasy alliances, new short scenarios for quicker sessions, and the new "Booby Trap" combat markers.

Note : The The Plum Island Horror core game is required to play this expansion.

Une excellente découverte ! Le propriétaire est non seulement très sympathique, mais aussi passionné, disponible et de bon conseil. On sent qu’il aime ce qu’il fait, et ça se reflète dans l’ambiance chaleureuse de la boutique. Le choix est varié, les produits sont bien présentés, et on a tout de suite envie d’acheter… encore et encore ! Une boutique locale qui mérite d’être connue et soutenue.
