1941 in the Middle East
From April to November 1941, the British achieved decisive victories across Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Iran. These campaigns consolidated Allied control of the Eastern Mediterranean, secured vital oil supplies, and opened a land route to the Soviet Union—though success was far from guaranteed.
Articles Included:

- The Battle of Attu Island: From 11–30 May 1943, American and Japanese forces clashed in the only WWII battle fought in a snowy environment, ending in a desperate banzai charge and brutal hand-to-hand combat.

The Path to Victory: Middle East, 1941 is a two-player simulation of the operations in Iraq, Syria, and Iran during the spring and summer of 1941. Players must manage scarce military and political resources to gain control of the Middle East.
